Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Intercooler service ("Service") operated by Intercooler ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Intercooler provides webhook endpoint hosting and analytics for Docusign integrations. The Service includes:

  • Unique webhook URLs that receive and store event data from external services
  • Analytics dashboards that generate insights from stored event data
  • Security features including HMAC verification, IP allowlisting, API key authentication, and Basic Auth
  • Team collaboration with role-based access control
  • Email notifications and digest reports

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and verify it via the confirmation link we send. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information current.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of receiving, storing, and analyzing webhook event data. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
  • Send malicious payloads or attempt to exploit the webhook endpoints
  • Use the Service to store data unrelated to webhook event processing
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you send to or store within the Service. We do not sell, share, or use your webhook event data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to transmit any data sent to your webhook endpoints. If you use Docusign Connect to forward events to Intercooler, you are responsible for compliance with Docusign's terms regarding that data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

  • Delete individual webhook endpoints and all associated event data
  • Configure automatic retention policies to purge events after a specified number of days
  • Delete your entire account, which permanently removes all webhooks, events, API keys, and collaborator relationships

Account deletion is irreversible. We do not maintain backups of deleted data.

Security

We provide multiple layers of security for your webhook endpoints, including HMAC-SHA256 signature verification, IP allowlisting, API key authentication, and Basic Auth. You are responsible for configuring these security features appropriately for your use case.

You are responsible for keeping your API keys, HMAC keys, and account credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and is subject to the availability of that infrastructure.

We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect Service availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
